Spicy BBQ Rub

The generally accepted difference between barbecuing and grilling are usually the way you cook and the types of the heating methods used. Grilling is usually done fast over high, direct heat that generally produces little smoke, while barbecuing is a slower process over low, indirect heat and the food is flavored greatly by the smoking process.

Spicy BBQ Rub

This spicy bbq rub is sure to add a kick to your barbecue recipes!

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup paprika
  • 3 tbsp black pepper
  • 4 tbsp coarse salt
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp celery powder
  • 2 tsp cayenne powder

Apply generously to meat and let sit a few hours to overnight in the refrigerator to let the flavors permeate the meat.
