Grilled Balsamic Steak with Bleu Cheese Sauce


I served my steak and blue cheese sauce over a bed of spinach.  The sides were grilled red onions, and garlic mashed potatoes.


Balsamic Marinade

2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp. brown sugar

  • Whisk all ingredients together.  Marinate steak at least 30 minutes.

Bleu Cheese Sauce

1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled
1/4 cup buttermilk
a few dashes of Worcestershire

  • Mix all ingredients together until creamy and chunky.

Cook steak to desired doneness and top with the bleu cheese sauce.
