Creamy Mashed Potatoes
3 lbs potatoes
2 tbls salt
2 cups half and half
3 cloves garlic, chopped
- Peel potatoes and cut in half. Place in large pot and cover with water. Add the salt to the water and boil until the potatoes are fork tender. Drain and return to pot to let the heat of the pot help dry the potatoes.
- While the potatoes are boiling, add the half and half and garlic to a small pot and heat up.
- After letting potatoes dry in pot, mix together with the heated half and half. Mash potatoes together with cream until creamy and mixed together.
- Serve with your favorite toppings including cheese, bacon, sour cream, etc…
