Buffalo Chicken Wings – Super Bowl Recipe

These were the best wings I have ever eaten.  There I said it.  And I cheated making them.  And you should too!  I used Hooters Wing Breading and Hooters Wing Sauce.  These were so easy to make and everyone that tries them will want more.  And this is just in time for the Super Bowl!

Buffalo Chicken Wings – Super Bowl Recipe

4 lbs chicken wings parts, drums and flats
1 package Hooters Wing Breading
1 jar Hooters Wing Sauce
vegetable oil for frying
Ranch dressing
Blue Cheese dressing
chopped green onions

  • Heat fryer with oil to 360 degrees.  While oil is getting hot, coat the chicken with the Breading mixture in a large ziplock bag, in batches.  Let the coated chicken sit in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  • When oil is hot, fry the chicken in batches for about 10 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.  You can keep the chicken in a warm oven until it is all finished cooking if you’d like.
  • When chicken is finished cooking, toss and coat wings in the wing sauce in a large bowl.  Top with onions if desired, and serve with dipping sauces.

And that’s it.  So easy yet soooo goooodddd.  I used my new cast iron dutch oven as my fryer.  I used a candy/deepfry thermometer to make sure my temps were correct.
